Persons who practice communicating with other animals have been described with a variety of words or phrases; animal communicator, pet psychic, telepathic communicator, new age kook.

Personally I prefer interspecies communicator. Humans, Homo sapiens, are one species among millions of animals that have evolved with their own special skills, adaptation, and intelligence to live on, in, or around planet earth. As a human, I am humbled and feel privileged, when other species on this planet wish to be part of my world.

The word “anima” has evolved to mean so many essential ideas about who animals are on this planet and what is important for interspecies communication. Without deep breath to help focus the body and get out of the mind, communication may be fragmented. Without knowing the inner self, communicated information may be misrepresented. Without the heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit connection, true understanding of another’s perspective may be non-existent.
